I setup a temporary web page at www.jimslightning.com. Funny; as point of reference, watch the loaded Lightning takeoff and then the Loaded RV takeoff. Make your own comparison... You can also search YouTube and should find a few lightning videos there. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 10:30:25 AM PST US Subject: Lightning-List: Re: Lightning World Record From: "Scotty" You da man Earl VSH aviating. I was there for the past two days. I really like hanging out down there. Small airport, nice folks and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks for the effort. All our landings are 'green' here in New Zealand but very wet at the moment with the winter rain. I am looking forward to a trip to home base in 4 weeks to do a build and dry out! Thanks from Down Under Ron Ritchie On Sun, 12 Aug 2007 17:47:16 -0500, "Colin J. Kennedy" wrote: > Nice job Jim. I really like Ryan and the crew and want to do something special for them. This was my "playing around" until I get Adobe premiere back on my box. I'll probably do a full 6-8 minute demo video some time in October once I get some digital video and beg Jimmy to take me up in the Sky Ranger so I can get some flying pics and video. I know that when I was considering the Lightning, there wasn't really much out there for me to watch. To be honest, I would rather Pete and the crew spend their valuable time on creating great aircraft while us users support them with this kind of stuff. I LOVE the sound of that 3300 when it is flying over, huh? Sorry that I didn't get a chance to make my demo video before I left Shelbyville. You got a couple of good shots though that demonstrate the speed, agility, and climb of the plane. It is a fun and good performer. It's really a shame that I didn't get to shoot my aerial video. I had all my scenes chosen and choreographed to the music that I chose. I also now have access to a camera gyro that is ideal for a handheld video camera. Also works great for aerial stills, cutting down on vibration. I think that these types of videos are appealing, but also help to show some visual beauty of the plane and how it really performs. Great job there Jim! Know you'll love the plane.
