I have not heard much chatter on here about the get together at Arion in Shelbyville. I hope all are coming for It will be real important to get all the answers from soup to nuts. Also cant wait to get a ride in that open cockpit lightning with the tail wheel and the 8 cylinder engine. It must be a hoot. I have been to the factory 4 times for different events and its always been a great experience. Anyone building or thinking about the Lightning or the Jabiru engine should really consider the trip. Hope to see you all there. Tex

Tex, Joe and I expect to be there; just have to get the exhaust back on and fly off 4.4 more hours. I should be able to do that before the 21st. Colin, There are several hotels in Shelbyville. A lot of our customers stay at the Country Hearth Inn. Mention Buz's name for a great rate! We also have a Best Western and Super 8. Some of our customers choose to stay in Murfreesboro which is about 20 minutes north of the airport. If you're driving down from the Nashville airport head east (towards Chattanooga) on I-24 and take exit 81. At that point you're on the south side of Murfreesboro. From exit 81 head south on 231 for about 20 minutes. The Shelbyville airport will be on your left and our hangars are the first two buildings you come to. Hope this helps! Buzz, If after a 1000 or so hours in a Lightning, could one white boy with a hundred or so extra hours in a tail wheel like a Sonerai, and a very confident and well-skilled pilot with nerves of steel and cat-like reflexes, move up to the Nemesis NXT? I would love to see Nick and crew come up with a design for a plane that could push the 300mph mark yet cost half of what a finished Nemesis would cost. They have done it with pioneering the Lightning- I would love to see an encore, Fellow Lightningeer, Charles PS- Buzz- Being as experienced as you are, would you feel confident flying the Nemesis over open water for over 1000 miles (something like the Carribean chain) --- N1BZRich@aol.com wrote: > > In a message dated 9/6/2007 9:43:27 P.M.
