Thanks for the vote of confidence and the name suggestion, but personally I don't think that name will fly. To my way of thinking it just doesn't have the right "ring", plus I don't think the newsletter should have someone's name in it. Even though it really isn't my name in the newsletter (Buz is a name; buzz is a noise - that's my thought), I really wouldn't feel comfortable with that. Besides, at some point in the future, someone else will take over the newsletter (hopefully sooner rather than later). I started the newsletter because it needed to be done. The factory guys are too busy to do it and even thought I suggested it to several Lightning builders at the first Lightning Fly-In, no one seemed to "get the hint". So being a big believer in the product and the guys that developed it, I thought it would be a way for me to help out until someone else steps up. And that's a hint for someone out there to start thinking about doing this job at some future point. I am pretty busy with all the aviation volunteer work I do, and even though it keeps me busy and on the go, I love it all and feel it is important for me to give back. I consider the SYI team as close friends and want to see them continue to grow the company and the airplane - make that airplanes, because I really like the Jabiru line of aircraft as well. Lets just forget your name is Buz, and think of how appropriate this is. There has been so much buzzz about this plane and planes buzz fields and lightning does buzz when it strikes etc. Just add some more zzz to it so it won't make you uncomfortable, even if someone else had started this, I think this is the right name. See you all in a couple of weeks (at Sun N Fun). Hi Lynn, So maybe you are #60 - the Your name, Your town, call Dana - guy. I am sure she will keep me updated for future issues. When you start your build on 21 April, how about giving the newsletter some progress photos and words during your experience. Something along the lines of "Here is the progress after week one, week two, etc. with photos and words to explain what all has been done. Yes, Sun-N-Fun is getting close and I hope we have a good turnout. Nick or Pete, if you are reading this how about setting a time and place for a get together. Also, did you get a Lightning forum scheduled for this year? I will be arriving early again this year - weather permitting will get there 4 April - and will be camping again with my friends in the Vintage area. Will be volunteering in the Type Club Tent at the American Bonanza Society table for a few hours each day. We probably need a "sign in" sheet at the Arion booth so we can see who has arrived and leave messages for each other. Blue Skies, Buz _____ It's Tax Time! After Looking at the photo again that Pete teased us with, I am now not too sure I got it right, saying it was part of the new flap hinge fairing. His photo is below, along with one that Nick had sent me some time ago and that photo does show the flap hinge fairings as they are being fitted to the new 2008 Demo wing. I think we need some new guesses on Pete's photo. Buz **************It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms, and advice on AOL Money & Finance. Here are some suggestions we already have that incorporate the name Arion: Arion=99s Voice, The Arion Authority, The Arion Discharge and Thr Arion Flash. Once again, I don't think too much about the Arion Discharge, even though lightning is an electrical discharge. Sounds too much like some bad medical condition. Buz **************It's Tax Time!
