Pete,
Your flap hinge covers were quite a hit in the last newsletter. I would
like to do a follow up article (or articles) on the hinge covers and your
flap gap solution and an overall story on your project. So if you agree, send
me some words on the hinge development or fabrication and how you glassed in
the gap area. Did you design and make the gap fairings or were you able to
adapt some other fiberglass part to do the job. I am guessing you made them
from scratch. Actually I see a market for these if you have any way to have
them duplicated in numbers.
Also of interest would be your overall Lightning project. How you
decided to build the Lightning, your thoughts on the build process, other changes
you have made, etc. And how about the engine? All of these things would
make a great lead article for the newsletter.

I liked the Lightning Buzz name right away. It had nothing to do with the name
of the writer, I think it is a great name, it does "strike" something in me.
The future planes from Arion may have different names and the author will change
but the name Lightning Buzz will still fit.
Every plane Arion builds from now on would not exist if the lightning did not exist.
So the legacy of the Lightning will remain in some way.
Having a part that resembles the name of the creator included in the name is a
nice way of showing recognition and appreciation for the initiative.
But , whatever the name happens to be, I d like to thank Buz for his work,
