Buz, I particularly liked the section under other items in the last two newsletters. Some of these things are worthy to be w ritten up in things like AOPA and EAA magazines, other than it being aircra ft specific. Folks, figure out the way that you feel most comfortable doin g certain things for yourself, but Buz, if you don't know, has been there a nd done that. Nick is a younger guy, but has a lot of flying experience an d has more time in a Lightning than anyone else alive. (also flown more di fferent serial numbers) So to me, these two articles that are kind of "how to" are things that are worth their weight in gold. Look at who they're c oming from and what they're about. I truely hope that all of you have read these articles. Switching between different aircraft is the one thing tha t I've seen that can even the playing field quickly. The one thing that I' ve seen that holds true is that a person that switches to new aircraft type often and does so with safety in mind will find it easier to transition. If you ever get too old to learn though and if you've got enough types unde r your belt to fly anything, then you'll mess up. Learn these lessons that are written about in these articles and keep yourself humble and the trans ition to the Lightning will be enjoyable. More than that though, the lesso ns on decision making can apply to all types of aircraft and flying. Keep on flying! Brian W. I am assuming you got the latest issue #5 f rom the Lightning list. There in lies my problem. When I go to there site to make sure the latest issue is uploaded, it does not appear to me that i t is there, but I know it is. When I select newsletters the list I see onl y goes to #4. As everyone knows, I am a computer challenged person. Any t houghts or suggestions as to what I need to do. I have already downloaded the newest Adobe program and that did not help.
