Eastern Daylight Time, allanmaxe@yahoo.com writes: a couple of days ago I noticed a litte fuel on the ground under left wing Hi Allan, It is hard to respond with a definitive answer without knowing more facts. For example, what do you mean by a "little fuel" on the ground and how long had the puddle been there? Aviation fuel evaporates pretty quickly so unless it was a really large leak and large puddle, it probably would evaporate on the ground really quickly and you would not see a puddle unless it was recent. Did you see any dripping? Were there any blue residue on the bottom of the wing? Had the airplane just been refueled and the line guy possibly over filled the tank and that is what caused the fuel on the ground? That seems to happen a lot with the Esqual and Lightning when untrained line guys refuel them. Was there an apparent area where the fuel was coming from? For example the tank sump. Was it in fact fuel? Sorry about so many questions, but without more to go on it is hard to come up with suggestions. Blue Skies, buz **************Vote for your city's best dining and nightlife.
