It seems a good idea but its appearance is just a bit crude compared to the rest of the airframe. Nick tells me that you have changed the design and cut the trim tab out of the elevator instead of using the add on metal part. He gave me your email and suggested I contact you about it so here I am. I would appreciate any information or photos you care to share on what you have done with your trim tab and how it has turned out. What did you do to provide a solid attachment for the hinge line? I presume you had to fashion some sort of structure to support the trailing edge skins and the leading edge of the tab. Very Cool! It appears that you cut a section out of the trailing edge of the Elevator and bonded the hinge into the end sections. Is that correct? I like your craftsmanship. Very straight cuts! Please share your technique. I wish I had seen this about four weeks ago.
