You know you have to watch that gross weight for your next world recored. It had slipped my mind that you had the hip replacement scheduled. I do wish you had taken that camera. You and your nurse would have made a great centerfold for the newsletter. So get well soon, and get Echo Foxtrot back in the air. I look forward to seeing you at Sun-N-Fun. Also, I like your idea about you leading a tour through the Carib. Who else but an ex-navy pilot would know where all the nude beaches are. DO NOT FORGET YOUR CAMERA. Buz Buz, I think I picked up about 5 lbs with the new titanium hip, But I'm looking forward to some of the new Lightning owners to carry on the record tradition. After all, Nick & Co have been getting the empty weight down on the new birds. If we can just get one down under the 1102 lb TO weight WITH the gear clean up, that would be a world beater. Now with the new Turbo Jab 2200 and its 120+ Hp and 4.0 gph at 16,500 and 140K just think of what we could do!! We haven't scratched the surface yet. Sorry to disappoint you about having recced all the nude beaches. I got that info from the Bahamas and Caribbean Pilot's Guide. A necessary document for anybody planning a flight between Florida and South America. A Lightning group trip through the area would be very interesting. You can get anywhere with less than 100 statute miles over water, and our short field capability makes almost every island accessible. Yes, I have dreamed about and planned a trip like this before, and even done part of it. And I have been to many of the islands, either by ship or airplane. Some are pretty, some are drab but all are interesting. Is there any interest out there??? Earl **************Who's never won? Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
