This is the Skiing resort in France, altiport rating required, only one way in,
no go around as mountain ahead. Corcheval is the ultimate but there are many
dotted around the alps, France, Switzerland. Small grass as well as more organised
places like this one. A friend went in one in a Jabiru ULM, there is not
altiport rating required for a ULM. I've also seen pictures of a new Beech that
was landed by an unrated guy, bent main spar and engine drooping on pylons.

If you dig just a bit deeper from the YouTube video you can see the same landing
done by a 737! IT just happens to be in Flight Sim though.
BTW has any modeled the Lightning For Flight Sim X?

Hope he stays on-Piste. Lets reserve off-Piste for skiing. I will be in
Meribel next month with my son. Would love to fly a Lightning there.
I get to Aberdeen on occasion. I would really like to take a flight with
you in yours when it is repaired.

I am working on modeling the Lightning in Xplane 9. This will give us a mu
ch more realistic flight model. Hopefully at some point I'll get both a mo
del of the Lightning and the often used GRT EFIS modeled to allow some basi
c transition training=2C or a sense of building excitement while you build.

I'd like to see if Buz can pass the test to land on St. Barts.
Charles is probably right to question my abilities, especially since he
probably knows I would have trouble keeping my eyes from looking at that topless
beach just off the end. But I certainly think it is a great idea for Earl to
lead a guided tour. Earl, are you thinking about after Sun-N-Fun or what
time frame?

When you build the EFIS, we can coordinate together and I could build the
MGL equivalent.

I am working on modeling the Lightning in Xplane 9. This will give us a
much more realistic flight model. Hopefully at some point I'll get both a
model of the Lightning and the often used GRT EFIS modeled to allow some
basic transition training, or a sense of building excitement while you
build. Brian W.
