Very well said....

Buz=2C as for the size of the newsletter that's entirely your call. Its you
r time and effort and what you spend doing it. Its really hard for me to p
ut into words how much it is appreciated. I am sure that everyone gets plen
ty of info from reading it. They may not realize the time involved doing a
newsletter. Your flying experience and the ability to put that into words
is a gift most people don't have. We are blessed that you do such a good jo
b. So you call the shots on this and just send me the address for the bill.

Brian's comment on the scope of the newsletter is a good one. On the
one hand, we all like to read articles on flying, but on the other
hand, it's a broad mission to accomplish to have the newsletter
include them.
A more narrow newsletter would include just information about the
Lightning that you couldn't get (without special circumstances)
elsewhere:
- How the Lightning flies, what it takes to learn to fly it.
- How it's built, and what it's like to build it, at the factory and
on your own.
- Mods builders have made. Different instrument panels come to mind.
- How to maintain the Lightning, common problems, how to fix them.
- News about the Lightning. How many are being built, where, by whom.
News from Lightning dealers.
Even with a "narrow" focus, there are lots of subjects that are
Lightning-specific.

Buz,
I see no reason to limit the size of the newsletter. Make it as long as you
have interesting articles to put in. I'll help cover the extra postage {;<).

Recuperation is great. I'm cleared to fly and did Sat before last (it rained
all last W/E). It's nice to have two working hips, even is one will set off
every metal detector I pass thru. Planning to go to SNF and hope to see a lot
of Lightning owners, pilots and prospects there.
Thanks for the interest.
Earl
