Has anyone determined what the critical AOA is. 14, 15 16, 17? I am in the process
of designing an electronic AOA indicator using a uController and pressure
transducers. This would help to check some calculations.

I don't think that anybody has ever experimented to find out what the cr
itical angle of attack in degrees for the Lightning wing. Some may have an
AOA indicator=2C but as far as I know=2C all of them measure in dimensionl
ess units and not degrees. Good luck on your project. Sounds like fun. B

Buz,
I too think the?number of pages?is really up to you.? I'm sure the more input you
have from all of us helps you minimize TOT.?Based on your earlier survey, I
thought the content was about right with what you hve been delivering.? I read
it on-line from page to page, then make a hard copy and carry that month in
my car and plane with me.? It's gets read several times by me and some of the
guys at KPIE.? Having put a newsletter together in the past, I know the toughest
thing is to get articles submitted from the readers.? So we al lneed to help
you out with that.
You and Linda Keep up the subperb work.
thanks for all you do.
N82PB now has 33 hours on her working my way to 40.?
Hoping to submit another articl soon

Buz, as for the size of the newsletter that's entirely your call. Its your time
and effort and what you? spend doing it. Its really hard for me to put into words
how much it is appreciated. I am sure that everyone gets plenty of info from
reading it. They may not realize the time involved doing a newsletter. Your
flying experience and? the ability to put that into words is a gift most people
don't have. We are blessed that you do such a good job. So you call the shots
on this and just send me the address for the bill.
