Congratulations to Carl and Pat Beatrice for the first flight of their
beautiful Lightning, N767CP. Their new baby is white, green, and gold; for some
reason I really like those colors. They don't have their lap top with them
here, so I am sending out this "birth announcement" for them. First flight was
today, 5 April 2009, and it literally flew "hands off" - no trim
requirements at all will be required. So congratulations are also in order to
the
build crew that helped Carl and Pat put the airplane in the air and made sure
it
was rigged correctly right out of the box - Nick, Mark, Moostang Mike, and
also Katie and Dave Jalanti, the new Lightning dealer from NY). Super job
Carl, Pat and the Lightning team.
