This begs the question, what does S-LSA get with regards to European certification? It would be great to see some Lightings flying over this side of the pond. With the dollar-Euro rate they would be very competitive.... Already have pictures from Nick on the reinforcing solution. All Esqual owners that haven't done the mod please note. Other picture shows the easy access afforded with the plane fuse hanging from the roof. Got this idea from some Arion pics and use it last time I had the engine off. Other work involves putting 1.5 degrees on the stabiliser, this I hope will increase the stability which is a prerequisite for a UK permit. Thanks again to Nick for this suggestion. Currently the plane doesn't recover from an induced push forward. Mind you, it doesn't accelerate the dive toward the ground as it did with the bungee trim. It settled into a 125 knot dive on the last test. So moving forward and now ready to fit the new parts and turn it the right way up again! I've ordered the LS parts as well, cause, in the words of my beloved wife, 'I just can't stop spending money on that thing'...........:-) Regards, Clive <> <> ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 07:23:49 AM PST US Subject: Lightning-List: Lightning Apparel From: "laflyins" Does anyone sell shirts/caps with an embroidered Lightning logo/aircraft on them? Unfortunately, no. Our Demo LSA will be on display at the Light Sport Mall at the entrance to Sun n Fun. Once there it has to stay there. Since this is the only LSA Lightning at the moment we won't have one on the "flight line" for demo rides. Everyone is always welcome to visit us here in Shelbyville for a demo ride. 3. We just have to see what the customer wants. We can sell the kit as it stands right now (as packaged for the Experimental AB market) all the way up to "turn key". It will all depend on the customer and to what level of completion they would like to receive their kit. 4. Never say never but for the near future this is not one of our goals. We look forward to seeing everyone at Sun n Fun and finally putting faces with the names we see here on the list. Also, don't forget about the Lightning gathering at noon on Friday. See you at "Spring Break for Pilots"!
