Subject: Retractable wheel pant Lightning?
I just saw this on avweb. How cool would it be to have a retractable wheel
pant Lightning out there. I wonder if it increases cruise speed much? Kin
d of a weird but neat idea. No complex issues or weight of hydraulics or p
neumatics to raise the entire gear. Also=2C if one got stuck it'd simply r
ub through causing damage to the pant but not the aircraft. Brian W.
