I must say that I am pretty impressed with the gradual changes that you guys
are making to your web site.
www.greenlandings.com is looking pretty good, and congrats on taking on the
Jabiru aircraft line.
Jim!

I am sure many of you up there in Green Landings Area know about the Virgina
State Fy-in this week end. But for any one else looking to see the Lightning
kits and the Lightning LS-1 come on up. I plan on doing demo rides in the
SLSA Lightning if requested

All,
The June issue of the Lightning Newsletter is now available and is
posted on the Lightning web site at: _http://flylightning.net/_
(http://flylightning.net/)
It should also be posted at Jim Langley's web site at:
_http://www.jimslightning.com/html/home.html_
(http://www.jimslightning.com/html/home.html)
This issue leads off with an article on Test Flying Your Homebuilt
Aircraft - an expanded version of the FAA's phase one flight test requirement.
I have shared it with some of you in the past and many have suggested
that it should be published for all to use. Also included in this issue is
the latest list of kits sold, plus an article on Katie Bosman that appeared
in the 99s Magazine (you might even see a photo of World Record Earl in that
article). You will also see the latest Safety mod that Johnny Thompson
has developed to prevent static electricity problems like he encountered.
As always, I appreciate any and all feedback. The newsletter needs
your comments and inputs in order to improve and remain useful to the group.
Send anything you want considered for the newsletter directly to me. I
have already started on the July issue, so NOW is the time to send your
inputs.
On another note, this Saturday and Sunday is the Virginia Regional
Fly-In. The new ASTM certified LS-1 Lightning will be on display (and giving
demo rides) as well as one of the Green Landings Lightnings. So jump in
your flying machine (or road vehicle) and head for Suffolk Airport (KSFQ) in
Virginia. You will get a chance to see some great airplanes and talk to
some really smart people (Pete, Nick, Ryan & others). Doug K-berg and I will
also be there.
Blue Skies,
Buz

Nick:
Really nice picture of the LS-1 on the web site!
BTW: My N730AL will be down at Virginia this weekend. Just look for the
one in the Baltimore Orioles colors.
