Subject: How do you verify your Pitot/Static setup?
I have flown my Lightning several times and do not have the highest degree of faith in my ASIs. I have a small steam gauge ASI and my EFIS. My EFIS is fully adjustable across the speed range to make up for a pitot/static setup that is not perfect. I tee off of each line to go to each instrument. My question to you all is that once you have you instruments setup, how do you verify them? Am I missing anything? Jim!

Jim, I generally use two ways. Close formation with an airplane that I know is accurate - like the Grand Rapids EFIS system in my Esqual, or fly ing wind triangle checks using a GPS. One other way that is similar to what we talked about last Saturday at Green Landings is outlined at: _http://www.iflyez.com/manometer.shtml_ (http://www.iflyez.com/manometer.s html) Buz **************Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop: Now in 6 vibrant colors!
