Johnny,
You can get this from Green Sky adventures, I think they have a web site to
order from. Seems to work well so far.

Hi Nick
Sounds good. Which kit is installed on the Lightning? Does the 4' length
work of do you order longer? What jets were you using?
Thanks. Ready to order today. Johnny

Johnny (or anyone else that might try this system),
This system certainly sounds interesting as all the fuel flow testing
I did some time ago seemed to point to the fact that the higher you go, the
less efficient the Bing auto leaning set up worked. Since most of my
cross countries are up in the 8,000 to 10,000 foot range, I can certainly see
the benefits of being able to manually lean the Bing carb. If most of your
flying is below 5,000, then I am not as sure it would be all that
beneficial.
So, if Johnny or anyone on the Lightning list installs this system on
your jet, all of us could benefit from your test results. I would
certainly like to have someone do an article on the installation of this system
and
the flight test fuel flow test results. Would be great info for our
Lightning newsletter.

Buz

Buz,
I would agree that below say 5k that it may not do much for a properly
jetted carb. However at altitude it seems to do a great deal. Out on the
west coast where you may from time to time climb to 12 or 14k for going over
the mountains this would do the trick, Or if you live at high altitude
already. I think you could get your main jet correct and than get close
with the needle jet for normal flight altitude and than use this to
compensate on cross countries.

Yes, I'll fly at 10,000 and land at 6,000 DA on a cool day. What I
needed NIck was the cable length that you use on the Lightning you
built. The standard is 4' but they will add as you need. Do you
remember what you installed? Thanks Johnny
