Hey Charles: The original tires on my lightning were 5:00 X 5 (mains) Air
Trac 4 ply rating tires. They are available from Desser (800 247 8473) in
Memphis. The nose tire is also an Air Trac I believe it is a 500 X 4.

I have tried several different tires for my Lightning. The absolute best
tires are retreads from Wilkerson Tire and Rubber. Dresser Tire also
sells retreads but they are not as good quality and they are out of
round. I recommend the 6 ply rated, 500 x 5 retread. They last much
longer than an original tire with more tread thickness and they cost
less. You can't beat that.
