To Group, Unfortunately we have decided to postpone this years 3rd annual Lightning Fly-in to the 10th of October. I know this changes a lot of peoples schedules whom were planning to attend. We did not want to do this however the weather in the south has been Unseasonably wet. The forecast for the next week show the same low overcast rainy weather we have already enjoyed for 2 weeks now. I know this will not work out for some however our schedule here will only allow that date. The Midwest LSA expo is October 1-2-3 and we will be there. My sister is getting married on the 14th of October so not a good day there either. We hope all can adjust there schedules to attend, these fly-in are supposed to be fun and with the current weather attendance might be just Us here and the Cat. Thank you, Nick Otterback Arion Aircraft, LLC ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 08:18:10 AM PST US From: "Craig Sumner" Subject: Lightning-List: RE: Lightning-List Digest: 14 Msgs - 09/21/09 Sounds like a good suggestion to me Mark to move the date. We have a better exchange when most of the folks fly into Shelbyville. I may even fly my Esqual there on October 10th. Aaron and I have made great progress and we both plan on attending. Mark and all, CRAP (Creeper Racing Association Professionals) have advised that they can change our sanctioning date to the weekend of 9 and 10 October if required. They have also checked with both National Creeper Racing Association and ACRAA (that you mentioned) about the weather rollers question. CRAP has advised that it will be OK, but if any national or world records are set, the record book will have an asterisk by the record holder's name indicating the new record was achieved by using special "rubbers". However, no special "lubrication" will be allowed.
