Nick, I sent you pictures in the mail today of the evevator trim tab and
a diagram. I found it to be about the right size by looking at other
tabs on other planes and judge it on percentages of square inches of the
tab vrs. the elevator. I guess I got luckey. I can trim out 25* of
flaps and at 30* of flap it has a very little pressure on the stick
which is nice for the flare. Also its small enough that the trim motor
speed is not excessive so triming at crusie speeds is very nice. Mabe if
I had to do it again I might add another 5 square inches to the tab.

I have a Rotax 912 (80hp) for sale. It was purchased for my kitfox series 4 project
but the project has been sold and the engine is now available. It has 1490
hrs SMOH. It came out of a certified A/C(Katana).Very well looked after. I don't
recall receiving logs with it. I was not concerned at the time of purchase
as the logs were not needed for a home built. The compressions were 76/80,76/80,74/80,76/80
at time of removal. $5700.00 cdn. I am located in Cambridge Ontario.
