Dear Listers,
The 2009 Matronics Email List and Forum Fund Raiser officially ended a couple of
weeks ago and its time that I publish this year's List of Contributors. Its
the people on this list that directly make the Email Lists and Forums possible.
Their generous
contributions keep the servers and Internet connection up and running.
You can still show your support this year and pick up a great gift at the same
time. The Contribution Web Site is fast, easy, and secure:
http://www.matronics.com/contribution
I also want to thank Bob, Jon, Andy, and John for their generous support through
the supply of great gifts this year!! These guys have some great products and
I encourage you to visit their respective web sites:
Bob Nucklolls - AeroElectric - www.aeroelectric.com
Jon Croke - HomebuiltHELP - www.homebuilthelp.com
Andy Gold - The Builder's Bookstore - www.buildersbooks.com
John Caldwell - HowToCrimp - www.howtocrimp.com
And finally, I'm proud to present The 2009 Fund Raiser List of Contributors:

Hi Brian,
Jim's screens are the 6.5" variety. It would be a bit of a squeeze but I
think the 8.4" screens may work. You may have to relocate switches and such.

Brian
In my spare time I have made several mock panel layouts with the Horizon.
I will be looking forward to your write up. When I looked at the GR web
site I see that the Horizon HX comes in either 6.5 in or 8.4 in formats. I
was not sure if the 8.4 in displays could fit in the Lightning panel. It
does in my drawing but anything fits in my drawings. It was one of my
primary questions on my list for a flight test when I can find time to make
it down to TN for a flight test.

Brian,
The Horizon EFIS are the larger format screens. As far as I know this
is the first installation of such. There are some other benefits that come
with these EFIS as well. I'm writing an article for the newsletter right
now and that's one of the things that will be in there. I'm sure that Buz
is wondering when I'll finally get done with this article. Been a busy
year! Brian W.

Great Looking Plane!!!! I love the paint scheme. I was wondering if the
Horizon EFIS's are the larger format? Please provide a Photo. I'm envious.
Johannes - That sounds Norwegian?

I think that one way that might make it happen was to add in a "shelf" for
switches like on the Cirrus. Just a thought. Brian W.
