Nick's reply and my response of "Ouch" was more of an inside joke between Bill, Nick and myself. Bill, being the busy business man that he is, took a little longer than normal to get his hours flown off and then fly his plane home. I'm being generous with the term "a little longer". When he came to Shelbyville several months ago to retrieve his Lightning he flew over from Texas in his Grumman. Bill is an extraordinary person but he hasn't mastered the art of flying two planes at once. At least not yet. So, he left his little yellow Grumman here. Between Bill's schedule, the fierce TN snows, and the locust cycle it's been tough for Bill to get back to here. We periodically send Bill pictures of his wayward Grumman just so he knows it's in good hands. We're confident that the Grumman will eventually make it's way back to Texas and Bill's airplane family will again be whole. And now you have the rest of the story! All in fun!
