Just wanted to let the list know that we're off for Sun n Fun bright and
early tomorrow morning.
We hope to see all of our friends at the show and please don't forget the
gathering at the Lightning tent on Friday at 1100 followed by Nick's
presentation at 1300.
Blue skies!

Earl, Max, and all others,
I arrived at Sun N Fun yesterday afternoon and have the camp all set
up. Let me know when you guys are flying in and I will try to meet you in
the homebuilt parking area. Only five homebuilts here this morning - an RV-
4, RV-12, Kit Fox and two Velocities. The vintage parking area has about
the same number. Rest of the Sun N Fun area is busy with vendors setting
up.
Beautiful weather here.
Blue Skies,
Buz

Two more days before the official Sun N Fun start date. Beautiful day
today for the SYI crew to fly to Lakeland. They brought two Light Sport
Lightning LS-1s and five Jabirus. I am biased, but they are the best looking
airplanes here. Certainly no other Light Sport aircraft can come close.
Unfortunately I forgot to have my camera with me, so no arrival photos, but I
will take it tomorrow and get some shots of them setting up shop in their
booth and in the light sport mall.
The only slightly exciting event today was a Luscombe ground loop right in
front of all the SNF activities. Folded the right main and bent up the
right wing tip. What a bad place to do a bad thing. I feel sorry for the
unfortunate pilot. This happened just before the SYI gang was to arrive so
it delayed their arrival somewhat. In fact, due to the location of the
mishap, they all had to take the "Earl SNF Taxi Tour Route" to get to their
parking spaces.
I am not going to promise an email update every day, but will get at least
a few out. My main emphasis will be to get some good photos and info for
the May newsletter.
Blue Skies,
Buz
