No rain today, at least so far. There is a chance of rain tonight, but for now things are drying out. More aircraft have arrived, but still no parking on the grass. The best guess at the moment is that airplanes will move to the regular parking areas on Wednesday if the drying continues. Until then, we are mostly enjoying watching the other parts of the show go together and enjoying meeting old friends. For those that are going to be here, the Lightning (and Jabiru) booths are in the same basic location as last year. As you come in the main gate go to the third double row of displays and turn right. Look for the tent with Pilatus painted on top of it and the Lightning and Jab guys will be just behind that. All the major aircraft display tents are already up. Another way to find them if you are coming from homebuilt parking is walk up the main walkway from Aero Shell Square and go three rows beyond (west) exhibit building D. The actual booth numbers are 134, 135, and 136. The Light Sport Mall is near the same area as last year, but not exactly the same. Close enough that you can't miss it. There will be at least one Lightning and one Jab in the Light Sport Mall. Blue Skies (at least at the moment) Buz

Buz ,Greg and I just got home today from the air show in Arlington, Wa.. Do you think Greg Needs to bring our 24 foot pontoon boat? If the weather has been bad it will certainly be excellent for the show. We had no rain this year in Arlington . I think it was a first. I will be sending you pictures and writing something about the trip, however feel free to put it in a later newsletter because I know there will be enough information after OSH. Greg will be arriving Saturday to help out. I am sorry I won't be there but the show must go on! Thanks for all you do! Hi Crystal, Sorry to hear you will not be at OSH. We will miss you, but glad Greg will be here. Also glad you made the Arlington show and I look forward to getting your photos and write up from that show. No rain today, so things have been drying out well. Latest word is that they may start letting the lighter aircraft into the parking areas tomorrow and hopefully the others on Wednesday. I really appreciate you comments on the newsletter. It takes a lot of time, but I enjoy doing it. My concern is that I have been doing it for three years now and it probably needs some fresh ideas, new "blood" and perhaps a new direction. I am hoping someone else will take it over next year. Blue Skies, Buz In a message dated 7/19/2010 5:32:32 P.M. No rain today, but as I write this, we have a very light shower in progress. But overall, things have been drying out well today. Latest word is that they may start letting the lighter aircraft into the parking areas tomorrow and hopefully the others on Wednesday. I guess a lot depends on just how much rain we get tonight. As a reminder, to find the Lightning booth from the main gate, go to the third double row of displays and turn right. Look for the tent with Pilatus painted on top of it and the Lightning and Jab guys will be just behind that.
