Last Saturday night, I did (7) take off and landings with my flight instructor as part of my Private Pilot Training and I wasn't very satisfied with the setup. To be fair, I had not yet adjusted them from the build. With my plane in a parked position, currently both lights aim about straight out. If you are pleased with how you have set up your lights, I would be interested in knowing approximately where the center of your lights aim on your hanger door or apron for example, if you set your plane back about 20 feet back from the hanger. Or if you have a better method for aiming your lights I would welcome your input. Thanks. I meant to write Taxing, and not Tail Light I am looking for suggestions on the best way to aim the Landing and Taxing Light on my Lightning. Driving around this evening on the Gator I saw probably 15 or so Vintage aircraft, one homebuilt, one ultralight, one helicopter, four warbirds, and probably 10 or so store bought that are too new for vintage parking. I know in the Vintage area, the plan is to mow the grass tomorrow and then allow parking in selected areas. We expect quite a few more arrivals tomorrow based on the forecast for delta sierra weather on Thursday. In the Vintage area where I work, it really looks strange to see only camping tents set up where you usually see airplanes with people camping beside them. Hopefully tomorrow things will start to get back to normal. As for the homebuilt camping area - no one there at all. As far as finding the Lightning and Jabiru booths in the main display area. I mentioned that they would be in booths 134,135, and 136 and to look behind the Pilatus tent with their name on it. Well, also look for the Piper display tent and the Lightning guys will be just west of that area. So kind of between the Pilatus and Piper tents. I think it is a great location and I am hoping that the Piper Sport is close to the Lightning so potential customers can easily see both when walking down the road/path between the two booths.
