| Subject: | Service work during the Lightning Open house |
Hello to all,
I just wanted to let all of our owners that are flying in that we will not
be performing any service work on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (Oct 1-3)
during our Lightning Fly In/Open House. This allows us to spend time with
all of our owners and guests.
If you think you would like or need some work performed on your plane please
call and make an appointment so that we may put you on our schedule for the
days prior to or the week after the fly-in.
Again, I want to reiterate that the official fly-in date is Saturday, Oct
2nd. As in years past, we are cooking out Friday night for those that arrive
early. Of course early drive-ins are welcome too. We'll enjoy some cold
beverages, tell some lies and watch World Record Earl defend his National
Creeper Racing Title. I've heard from over a dozen owners that are planning
to fly in so this year should be a record! We've ordered up good weather and
look forward to seeing everyone the weekend after next.

Hey Mark: I guess I am left out. I have been communicating with Nick to try
and get an idea of how long and how much ($) to convert my engine. I find
out today that he has been home sick, so there are no answers. Obviously, I
was hoping to get the work done either before or after the Fly in/Open
House.
