My new word for the day is "insultformation"
It's a means for delivering some useful information in a somewhat
insulting manner. Now that I have it as part of my vocabulary, I'll be using
it
often.
Excellent new word!!!
Now to avoid having it used against me.......

Kent,
Your signature is really impressive. Do you enjoy being condescending?
Maybe I missed a post, but I don't see where Tex was using flaps to
"slow down".
Why would you bet that he has been exceeding the limitations of the
airplane? I'd be more inclined to bet that he built it and would not
exceed the limitations and then seek advice here in this manner.
It could be a motor getting weak, a rigging issue or a wear /
lubrication issue.

Think out in front of the aircraft. Only allow the aircraft to fly you
to somewhere your mind has been about 5 minutes ago. KJK
ATP/A&P/AI/CFII B-737.757,767, DC-8,9,10. 20,000+ hrs. I will bet you
have been exceeding the flap limit speeds on more than one ocassion.

some flap, that I cant get a full 30 degrees till I am down to about 70
mph. This has been getting worse the last few months. I get a full 40
with the plane on the ground. I suspect the motor getting tired. Any
comments welcome. Tex
