Now that I have it as part of my vocabulary, I'll be using it often. Excellent new word!!! Now to avoid having it used against me....... Do you enjoy being condescending? Maybe I missed a post, but I don't see where Tex was using flaps to "slow down". Why would you bet that he has been exceeding the limitations of the airplane? I'd be more inclined to bet that he built it and would not exceed the limitations and then seek advice here in this manner. It could be a motor getting weak, a rigging issue or a wear / lubrication issue. This has been getting worse the last few months. I get a full 40 with the plane on the ground. I suspect the motor getting tired. Any comments welcome.
