I have been using 30 degrees of flap on landing which seems ok. I will be starting my anual in july and will try to determined the cause. I will be looking at the hole in the fuse to see if the flap arm is riding on the top side of it which at high speed which could be binding it. Will keep you posted. I had a side bar with you about a month before that and you thought we just need to put in a heavier (more powerful) motor. I think Tex was going to do some experimentation with it. Like his mine goes to 30 degrees without any problem, but seems unable to r etract the flaps all the way no matter what approach speed I use. on the g round there's no issue... We had gone to less flap travel some time ago, for several other reasons including this one. Yes there is a motor available with about twice the rated torque as the current one. This could be an option.
