Hi Jack. Have you got the flying hours done so you could fly it home? Did
you get a chance to talk to Nick about me being a sales rep working with
you? He never did respond to my e-mail about it.
Regards,
George

N874HA, the EAB Lightning built as my demonstrator, made its first flight
recently at the Lightning Builder's Assist facility. According to Nick, the
flight went very well with only a few minor rigging adjustments necessary.
I'll be heading back to SYI next week to continue flight testing.
For anyone so inclined, I have posted a video of the taxi test and 1st
flight on YouTube. Just search for the N number and the two videos should
pop right up. Hopefully I'm a better pilot that I am a videographer.

Jack,
How is the flying going? Have you flown off the 40 hours and flown home?
I am really enjoying mine since I got back. I am a lot more comfortable
now. A friend of mine said all it takes is 200 landing. Ha!

Group,
Propellers - An old subject that still remains confusing (to me!). It seems the
2 favourites are the 62 FK58 or 62FK56 wood propellers from Sensenich
What are the current recommendations for the Lightning - both Experimental and
LSA. (I am building the LSA
Is anyone using the Ground Adjustable Composite from Sensenich? If so what are
your thoughts and what diameter is recommended - options seem to be from 60 to
64 inches.
I have tried Emailing Mark and Nick but haven't received a response.
Thanks
Geoff Eather (Australia)
PS: There may be another consideration in prop selection as the LSA in Australia
is not restricted to 120 Kts
