Hi Nick, where can I buy the lift srut for the lightning canopy? Initially on failed while I was building kit 34 we got a repacement from Dennis. Now the other one has faliled after 130 hours of use. Are these used on any other aplication or do you have them manufactured specifically for the lightning as we would like to replace the faulty one and buy a couple of spares. Cheers Helmut. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nick Otterback" <vettin74@yahoo.com> Sent: Saturday, July 23, 2011 1:19 PM Subject: Lightning-List: Lightning's Arrive! > > As Buz mentioned mark and arrived today early afternoon. Helmut, They are from mc master Carr. I do not have the part number here at the show but they are 15lbs struts, do not buy higher rated ones they will deform the canopy frame. Just measure the stroke and overall length and u should find the correct one.
