Buz, I was worried about you when we heard about the earthquake. Than
the rain storm. But, as usual you are worrying about some one else.
Our prayers are with Joe. If he needs a warm climate to rejuvenate we
always have room. Crystal and Greg Hobbs AZ.

I'm happy to report that Joe was doing better when I visited him in
the hospital today. He was alert and talking and had started eating.
Hopefully this improvement will continue and he may be able to go home
as early at next Monday. Of course, with the hurricane due to our area
of Virginia this Saturday, he is probably better off in the hospital.
I would like to thank all of you that have sent Joe your "best wishes"
so far. I made a copy of the messages that I had by 10 AM this morning
and read them to Joe when I got to the hospital about noon. He got a
big kick out of hearing from all of you and I feel sure it has helped
his overall feeling. I will add those messages that have come in today
and tonight and take them to him tomorrow. So keep those "get well"
wishes for Joe coming to the Lightning list and I will make sure he gets
your messages.

Hello everyone in the Lightning community,
Several days ago I asked everyone to send some "get well" wishes to
Joe Mathias using this list. When I would go to visit him in the hospital
and read the days emails from many of you, it would really put a smile on his
face. So thanks to those of you that sent Joe good wished and thoughts.
As an update, late today he was moved to a nursing home that provids
various levels of care. This facility will provide all the medical care he
will need, including physical therapy five time a week. Of course Joe and
Linda's goal is that Joe will improve enough to be able to go home soon. I
might add that I'm sure his top goal is to get back to the airport.
So keep those emails coming and I will keep copying them and taking
them to Joe.
