All,
We have a bit of good news on Joe as of this afternoon. Yesterday and
today, her was more alert, less confused, talking better, and eating and
drinking better. His kidney function has been slowly improving the last few
days and his oxygen level is good. So as of this afternoon he was
transferred back to the nursing health care facility that he was at before. He
is
also on new medication for his heart and kidneys.
Tomorrow he will restart therapy and, hopefully, will tolerate it
better than last week. He is still very weak from being in bed most of the last
3 weeks, and he has a long way to go to regain his strength, but overall
he is much better than a week ago.
Bottom line - your prayers and good wishes for Joe have been working.
And he really seems to enjoy your messages when I take them to him. So
please continue to keep Joe and Linda in your thoughts and prayers.
