Bear,
Just wondering if you replace the entire system of brake lines (from
the brake cylinders) or just the area near the wheels?

Folks,
Just to let you know, I upgraded my brakes last month and have a write up
about it in the upcoming newsletter. The new brake lines are from a
company in California, named Bonaco. I heard about them from a buddy of mine
who's in the late stages of building an RV-9. The company has a kit for
almost all the different models of RV's, so they've been doing this for a
while. When I called to get some info, the manager there, Brett Jarvis, was
extremely helpful in letting me know all about their product line.
I was the first Ligrhtning to get the Bonaco brake lines and after several
weeks of use now, I wanted to report that I'm extremely satisfied with the
product.
When the article gets published, I hope you take the time to read it.
There's some pics in the article so you can see the product. By the way, I am
not getting any money for touting Bonaco, I just think the quality of the
product is superb and ease of install is notable and wanted to make sure
you were aware of an alternate brake line system.
If you have questions, I'll be happy to reply.
Happy flying and braking....
Bear

Has anyone else had problems with the Matco parking brake valve? Mine
let air IN?? Strange, worked Ok as a parking brake but when pumping the
brakes it allowed air in to soften up one side. Have taken it out for
now.
