I am now a Lightning owner. On 6/15/2012 I purchased Bill Fisher's Lightning.
After spending a week at Greg and Crystal Hobbs facility in Marana and several
transition training days with HL Cooper(great instructor), I flew the nearly
1600 miles back to Georgia. The weather was great, and the air was smooth.
Then Lightning is everything I dreamed it would be. Is it perfect, well, not
yet. There are some upgrades to make, such as updating the EFIS and adding the
AP servos. But the best part is the wife loves flying in it.
Looking forward to many adventures in our new lady.

Nick,
Just what was the "big announcement" at Sun N Fun this year? I've kept and eye
on the Website and waited patiently for the next Newsletter but still have no
idea what the announcement was all about (? something to do with the tail?)
And now another "great step" to be announced at Oshkosh!!
Have I missed something?
Would be nice if the updated information was readily available to us past builders,
either Website or Newsletter.
Cheers

heres is another first flight on a new LS1 the OAT was already near 100 degrees

and check out the wonderful head temps. This is at the tip of climb over the
airport.

Will be flight testing over the next few weeks before delivery.
