From: "Dennis W. Wilt" Glad to see you made it home. We arrived at 0930 this morning into X26 (Se bastian, FL). Took 4 days because of weather. Left Saturday and got as fa r as 2A0, Mark Anton airport in Dayton, TN. Nasty weather ahead, so we sto pped. On Sunday morning we made it to KAMG (Alma, GA) when buildups stoppe d us again. Then Monday morning taking off in just barely VFR (lifting fog ) we got as far as KSGJ (St. Augustine) before a really nasty line of thund erstorms stopped us again. This morning we had a nice 1 hour and 15 minute flight home. Always an adventure doing long cross countries VFR. Also, in the current issue (which has the RV-1 on the cover) when you go to that article there is a place at the end of the article where you ca n download the PDF version. If that doesn't work for you let me know and when the September issue is posted on line, I'll get the PDF version and forward to you. So let me know if you don't get it on line. The Alma, GA airport (AMG) is not attended, but we were able to get in touch with the manager of a local I nn that gave us his car to go to dinner and breakfast, took us to and from t he airport. The main hangar is always open, so I put my plane in the hangar over night. We stayed at his Inn, Blueberry Inn. It is a very nice place a nd has the only liquor license in the county.
