Gary Barnett has a reconditioned Sensenich wood prop for sale. It is a
W60ZK-57G which is the prop used for the Lightning LS-1 and Light Sport
compliant EAB Lightnings.
He switched to a Sensenich ground adjustable prop and he sent this one back
to Sensenich to have it checked out. They went over it, repainted it and
issued a new logbook.
Gary is willing to let it go for half of what a new one is going for. Also
included is the ZL Prop bolt kit, a $36.00 value.
Please contact Gary at gbsss@bendbroadband.com for details. I'm just the
messenger.
Best regards,
Mark

Subject: | Positive Up stop for Flaps |
The flap system has some freeplay in it, between the torque tube and rodends
. Itmay be possible to move the flap by hand up and down a few degrees. If y
ou are trying to adjust roll it is possible that 1 or 2 turns of the rodends
will not help because the flap is flying up until the freeplay is gone. Try
adding up stops like these in the picture. Made from 1/8" thick angle, 1.5"
by 1.5" size. Installed with #8 hardware is sufficient. The only freeplay l
eft is in the rodends and there will be little of that. This has made riggin
g new aircraft easier here and kept the visual flap miss match if any to a m
inimum.

So Mark, are you saying this prop is good for N106AL? What is the
price of a new one by the way?

106AL has a WC62FK58 installed. The 60zk57G would make a nice climb prop. Fo
r that aircraft.

Thank you for the response. What about cruise? I suppose I can call
the factory and see what the difference would be. Do you have a contact
number.
By the way, when flying to Columbus yesterday in 28 degree weather, my
oil pressure going over was a normal 45 to 47 lbs. When returning it
would not get above 38. Still in the green but not what I am use to
seeing. Any ideas?
