I also submitted several articles to Mark for the newsletter. They were wri
tten up with pictures.Check with him to see if he still has them. I would
do that myself but I am in the hospital and will be for another week. good
luck with the newsletter. Gary SN133 N335AL

Hi Charles (and all other Lightning community members)=2C
Good suggestions. I'll provide a
limited update (it is still a proprietary program) on the Active Ride
Improvement System=2C and will send the other suggestions to the factory
guys. I agree that an overall update on the Lightning changes like Nick
provided at the October Homecoming would be good. And of course it is
always good to have inputs from any Lightning builder of flyer.
Please remember that when I put the past
newsletters (and this one) together=2C I am mostly an editor or publisher a
nd
depend on the readers to provide the articles. If I had a
magazine "staff" of writers it would be much easier=2C but putting out
the newsletter is a voluntary job=2C so I'm limited on the amount of
time I can devote to it. Even though it is a time consuming endeavor=2C it
is rewarding as well.
If someone would agree to take over the newsletter
on a permanent basis then I feel certain the inputs from readers=2C builder
s and
flyers would again start coming in without too many reminders=2C but since
there
has been no issue for a year=2C I'm having to "beg" for inputs at this time
.
The next issue is starting to come together and my goal is still to get it
published before Sun N Fun.
But what we really need is someone to take on the
newsletter task on a regular basis. So how about it=2C do we have someone
out there that wants to become "a famous aviation writer=2C editor and
publisher"? Here is your chance. Volunteer to become the next
Lightning Newsletter Boss. You will get a chance to meet lots of
interesting people=2C travel to exotic places=2C make lots of money=2C meet
beautiful people=2C and have all your other "imaginary dreams" come true.
What a deal. Volunteer now.

Lightning-List: Another Lightning Newsletter issue
I have had very few responses (only two at this time) to this email
requesting inputs for another issue of the Lightning Newsletter. So once
again=2C if you are building or flying a Lightning=2C I'd like to include
your
"words of wisdom" or anything of interest that you might like to be
included. Also=2C dealers=2C this is a chance for free advertising for y
our
dealership=2C so let us know what you have been up to. Since both Greg a
nd
Max were at Sebring=2C I certainly would like some inputs from them. Max
=2C
some photos of your and Olena's new baby girl would be great!!!!.
I will probably try to wrap up this issue near the end of Feb and get it
out near the middle of March=2C so plan on using 1 March as a deadline.

While at the recent Sebring LSA Expo show=2C Nick and Mark convinced me
to write another issue of the Lightning Newsletter (they are much
too busy for doing that task on a regular basis). So I'm planning
on doing one more Lightning Newsletter sometime between now and
Sun N Fun. I'll be covering the Lightning presence at the Sebring
Light Sport Expo=2C recent "factory" news and any other inputs I get fr
om the
current dealers and email list readers. So if you have something you
would like included=2C please send it directly to me at:
N1BZRich@aol.com
I will use the same basic format that I used when I wrote the first 36
issues=2C but if anyone has other suggestions=2C I'll consider new thin
gs as
well. Of course the same basic newsletter goal is just to get the word
out on anything involving the Lightning community. Let me hear from
you.
Dealers=2C I especially would like updated inputs from all of you.
Builders and flyers=2C any tech tips=2C building suggestions or
flying stories would be greatly appreciated.
