Laying up the first glass over the clay molds. Making intersection fairings t o go between the leg fairing and LSA wheel pant. Should have some parts to s ell in a few months. Fairings for your LSA? Thanks Bill for the clay, its still soft and works after all these years. I'll provide a limited update (it is still a propri etary program) on the Active Ride Improvement System, and will send the othe r suggestions to the factory guys. I agree that an overall update on the Li ghtning changes like Nick provided at the October Homecoming would be good. And of course it is always good to have inputs from any Lightning builder o f flyer. > Please remember that when I put the past newsletters (and this one) to gether, I am mostly an editor or publisher and depend on the readers to prov ide the articles. If I had a magazine "staff" of writers it would be much e asier, but putting out the newsletter is a voluntary job, so I'm limited on t he amount of time I can devote to it. Even though it is a time consuming en deavor, it is rewarding as well. > If someone would agree to take over the newsletter on a permanent basi s then I feel certain the inputs from readers, builders and flyers would aga in start coming in without too many reminders, but since there has been no i ssue for a year, I'm having to "beg" for inputs at this time. The next issu e is starting to come together and my goal is still to get it published befo re Sun N Fun. > But what we really need is someone to take on the newsletter task on a regular basis. So how about it, do we have someone out there that wants to become "a famous aviation writer, editor and publisher"? Here is your chan ce. Volunteer to become the next Lightning Newsletter Boss. You will get a chance to meet lots of interesting people, travel to exotic places, make l ots of money, meet beautiful people, and have all your other "imaginary drea ms" come true. What a deal. So once again, i f you are building or flying a Lightning, I'd like to include your "words of wisdom" or anything of interest that you might like to be included. Also, d ealers, this is a chance for free advertising for your dealership, so let us know what you have been up to. Since both Greg and Max were at Sebring, I c ertainly would like some inputs from them. Max, some photos of your and Ole na's new baby girl would be great!!!!. > > I will probably try to wrap up this issue near the end of Feb and get it o ut near the middle of March, so plan on using 1 March as a deadline. > Blue Skies, > Buz > > > In a message dated 1/27/2013 9:08:09 P.M. Take 2, meant to send this to the group, not Nick. Are any Lightning or Esqual owners going to be at Aero Friedrichshafen in Germany in April? Thanks, Brian Whittingham On Feb 20, 2013, at 5:21 PM, "Nick Otterback" <vettin74@yahoo.com> wrote: > > > <photo.JPG> > <ATT00001>
