Folks, thought you'd like a look at the underside of a Lightning looking rearward during a touch-and-go at St pete/Clearwater Airport. This is my first atte mpt using GoPro Editor software so I'm learning alot....shot with a GoPro H ero 3. We land long on Rw 04 because there's a pretty good hump at the int ersection of Rw 36 and you could be airborn again if you came in a little h ot.At the beginning of the clip, I'm waiting a little while holding short for traffic to land. (Music will kick in after I start rolling; about a min ute or so into the clip) I'm also working to get an acceptable neutral density filter to block out t he prop when I turn the camera around and look forward through the prop. I hope you like this clip....let me know what you think. http://youtu.be/xCwwc7y2iXU Bear Lovin my Lightning

Yep, good job Bear - fun movie. But now tell the truth, did you really intend to install it backwards to get the view of a bomber tail / belly gunner, or did you put it on backwards? Just kidding. Buz In a message dated 2/7/2014 5:16:46 P.M. Gary, I just used one of the small adhesive mounts which came with the camera and stuck it to the exterior part of the lower cowling. Make sure you clean a ny wax off the plane where you intend to attach the mount. Also let it set for about 24 hours. I'll take a pic of it tomorrow and send it out.
