This is my first atte mpt using GoPro Editor software so I'm learning alot....shot with a GoPro H ero 3. We land long on Rw 04 because there's a pretty good hump at the int ersection of Rw 36 and you could be airborn again if you came in a little h ot.At the beginning of the clip, I'm waiting a little while holding short for traffic to land. (Music will kick in after I start rolling; about a min ute or so into the clip) I'm also working to get an acceptable neutral density filter to block out t he prop when I turn the camera around and look forward through the prop. I hope you like this clip....let me know what you think. http://youtu.be/xCwwc7y2iXU Bear Lovin my Lightning ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:03:53 AM PST US Subject: Re: Lightning-List: GoPro Camera underside of Lightning Cowling From: iflysmodel@AOL.COM Nice job, Bear Lynn -----Original Message----- From: n5pb Sent: Fri, Feb 7, 2014 5:16 pm Subject: Lightning-List: GoPro Camera underside of Lightning Cowling Folks, thought you'd like a look at the underside of a Lightning looking rearward during a touch-and-go at St pete/Clearwater Airport. Watching Bear's video (great job Paul!) reminded me that we're putting toge ther a multimedia package to show on a 36" flat screen TV in our booths at Sun n Fun and Oshkosh. The story we're telling is how much fun, you the owners and builders of the Lightning, are having with your planes! If you've got a fun video like Bea r's or pictures of your flights please send them to any of us at mark@flyli ghtning.net, or nick@flylightning.net, or dana@flylightning.net. If the videos are too big let us know and we'll either send you a USB thumb drive or we'll try to open a drop box or something of that nature. Best regards to all! This shot is with the ca mera looking forward. The camera is physically upsidedown, but the GoPro s oftware allows you to "turn the shot upside down or upside right". When yo u ply it back you don't have to do anything ; it appears as though it was s hot normally. Cool stuff Hope this helps.
