Helmut,
Would you be kind enough to send me some information about your new Lightni
ng for the newsletter. Maybe a picture or two and a paragraph about the bu
ild and the Camit engine? If it doesn't get into this newsletter, maybe it
can make it in the next one.
Thanks,

Hi Buz & Gerd,
Steve Beile fitted piano hinges to his upper cowl
on his current lightning. (featured in one of the news letters) He is build
ing another Lightning and is going back to cam locks as the piano hinges ar
e not that successful .
I am just completing another lightning and the engine I am using is a Camit
engine which I have fitted with electronic fuel injection and spark contro
l.
Cheers Helmut

Hi Group,
I seem to remember that somebody made upper to lower cowling fasteners
out of piano hinges instead of Camlocks.
If you have a link or the Newsletter number please answer here.
If you have pics please mail them to my email address, since for unknown
reasons I can`t see the pics in this forum.
Thanks!
