Thanks to all who responded. My EAB jet empty weight is 895 which was strangely high because my friend with a factory LS-1 has empty wt of 840 and has considerably more equipment (avionics and autopilot) than mine. This 895 number is the same as original wt of plane when equipped with a BRS chute. I weighed with zero fuel on fancy electronic racing scales. Nick- this after chute removed. My new LSA wing tips are heavier and we put on the steps, B&B interior (lighter than what was in place) plus grnd adjust prop, but I have minimum avionics, and wide track gear. I'm happy to see others are in the same ballpark. Thanks again....George Andr...jet kit #11 Sent from my iPad > On Jul 20, 2014, at 2:00, Lightning-List Digest Server <lightning-list@matronics.com> wrote: > > * > > ================================================= > Online Versions of Today's List Digest Archive > ================================================= > > Today's complete Lightning-List Digest can also be found in either of the > two Web Links listed below.
