After reading some postings and not being able to see any ideas, I decided to try my own. I wanted to put on the newer caster assembly and was also tired of pushing down on the tail to move the plane. I'm not sure if this is "approved" by Arion or not, maybe they can let me know? Interesting. I would likely try to design one that did not stick out of the wheel pants, but this should work nicely. Blue Skies, Dennis W. Wow that looks good. Have you made a parts drawing of that yet. Thanks, Larry, Esqual 151GH lbnpk3@gmail.com On Nov 27, 2014, at 2:45 PM, curts63 <curt.stein@verizon.net> wrote: > > After reading some postings and not being able to see any ideas, I decided to try my own. I did not make a drawing of it. I never got past finger painting in school. I thought about what I wanted, borrowed my friends lathe, and cut it out of some old shaft material from work. I actually found the tow bar on ebay for $40, then made the pins to fit the bar. I decided to weld them onto the new caster assembly near the pivot, instead of the axle, better leverage.
