    Steve, glad you were able to get the film off. As I recall, it did take me a little while too to scrape the film off the entire canopy. I do think the canopy was relatively new and the film hadn't "hardened", but it was tedious. Continued luck with your build... It was a really slow and tedious job. I am sure it was so because the film had been on the canopy for a long time and had hardened on there. If anyone has an older kit with the canopy still protected I would remove it and reapply a new thick coat Aircraft Spruce seem to have it.
