Hi,
flying a LOM 332 AK powered Bucker since two years, I'm just wondering
who else is on the list?
I have now 200hrs on the engine and so far all is fine (except one
engine stop inflight, due to a sticking gravity valve after aerobatics....)
Have cleaned the contacts of my buzzer with the result that it's not
working anymore; any idea how to properly service and adjust the buzzer?
And do I have to do any service of the magnetos yet?
Thanks
Klaus (Vienna)

Klaus - I have the 332B engine - 50 hrs on a glastar. You can get the
buzzer from moraviation.com in Canada or probably from the factory in
Prague - you are so close. You have already cleaned the points on the
contact - there is only a capacitor and a coil in there. MAke sure all
the connection are solid for the P leads going to the buzzer. It is more
likely a connection problem! There is a procedure to check the current
draw through the buzzer points, but don't let it be "on" for more than a
few seconds, or it might burn it out. Do you have the engine manual?
So far I am happy with the LOM engine here in the USA. We have no LOM
mechanics in Texas, so I guess I will have to do most of the work!
Besten gluck!

Hi Klaus,
I installed the "Slick Start" in place of the buzzer. It is a solid state
unit, so there is no maintenance. Aircraft Spruce sells them for $349.95 US.
I think they were about $270 US, when I bought mine.
I have a M332A engine in a RV-3.
