Hi Bob,
I have a 337CE in the Spitfire. The only way I can start it is at full
throttle, which must be doing some harm to the engine when cold.
Would you tell me more about the slik-start from unison. Is it easy to
install? Does it replace the "shower of sparks" unit? Would you send
me their email addr. please.

Congradulations Bob, Hopefully it continues to run well. I just got mine out and
ran it for the first time in a month and a half, it fired right up, you will
come to love the slickstart.

Dave - it from Unison.... Spruce sells them. it is very similar to the
"buzzer" which is model T technology - that the Czechs have with the engine.
It is a direct plug in - Luke Wuest on the LOM forum let me know about it.
It was very easy to install. I had issues with the starter (had it rewound)
and that is better now. The book says to start with the throttle half open.
It fires and runs pretty fast, but it is easy to pull it back. Google
Slick-Start Unison and that'll give you the information. in the past six
months they have gone upf rom 330 bucks to 425 bucks.
