We have, in Australia, an Aero145. If you know this aircraft, you would know that it has two LOM332 engines. Our aircraft went out of service in 1977, and the engines are no longer serviceable. Getting them back into working condition through LOM, in Prague, is expensive. I understand that, about 1 - 2 years ago, two LOM332s with about half their life remaining, were offered for sale in the USA. They were advertised in Barnstormer. Does anyone know of these engines, or other M332s which may be available? The reason for my interest is that there is a group in the USA which has expressed some interest in restoring our aircraft. However, the cost cost of new engines, and the hassles of getting our engines to Prague, getting them re-built, and getting them them to the USA, is daunting. Engines available in the USA would be a big help.
