The Lycoming S.L. that covers converting from constant speed to fixed pitch
is S.L 1435. This has a very good drawing to show how it should be both
      ways.

All I can get to at the Lycoming site is the list of Service Instructions.

Any hints on how to drill down to the one (1435) and see it?
