I revved up to 1800 rpm, cut the magnetos and then applied carb heat, all without problems. But when idling it vibrated and stalled instantly after that. I restarted and found out that this behaviour was independent on whether the carb heat was on or off. It must be said that this engine has not run for some two to three months. What could the cause and remedy of this problem be? In the operator's manual I see in Section 7 page 7-6 Figure 7-1 that there is a screw for idle mixture adjustment and one for idle speed adjustment. Should I enrich or impoverish the mixture, should I increase the idle speed, or what? Thanks.
